![]() Tania showed artistic ability from an early age but coming from a
very artzy mother it was no surprise. At age 13, when working for a
day camp at CFB Downsview she was volunteered to do the make-up for the
end of year production of the Wizard of Oz. What started off with a
bunch of cheap eyeliner pencils grew into elaborate Halloween Parties,
Luaus & masqued balls thrown at her long-suffering parents house.
People began to book times to have her do their make-up - the next
thing she knew she was 'painting' for charities, companies & events
where she mostly traded her skills for a free lunch, some perks & a
t-shirt or 2. This continued as a sideline for her until the birth of
her son when she was asked to paint for a child's birthday. Soon her
skills were in increasing demand & with her 'little' boy not so
little anymore, Tania is now able to paint full-time. She recently won
First Place at the Bodyssey Face & Body Art Convention as well as
being featured in a Sideroads Magazine article titled "A Pigment of Her
Imagination."
